Great Oaks is a family owned and operated business. Melinda Murray Dally is the Executive Director of Great Oaks. She has been working in the healthcare field for over 20 years. With experience in not only Long-term Care but also in Hospital and Surgery Center Administration and Physician Office Management, Mrs. Dally brings a wide-range of healthcare knowledge to Great Oaks.

Our family, the Kenneth Murray family, built Great Oaks because of our dedication and passion to provide quality care for all seniors. Not only do we provide Independent Living and Assisted Living at Great Oaks and Memory Care at The Gardens, we have owned and operated our sister community Park Place Nursing Facility, also in Monroe, since 1962.

From our experience in healthcare, we know of the great need for and value of a home like Great Oaks. As people grow older, they may not need skilled nursing care. They do, however, want a safe environment that affords sociability and the comfort of caring professionals available to provide for their needs. At Great Oaks, we want to "fill the gap" existing between independent living at home and skilled nursing care.
